I have no desire at all!
I think I have exhausted all enthusiasm I have with work. To come to work means literally dragging myself out of bed. I hate this feeling! I used to get so excited to come to work. Retail used to rock!! Shopping is what I live to do. And to get paid for it? Nuts.. it's the best thing ever. But eversince the Great Bullseye decided to screw us over, there goes all motivation. I come to work with no sense of urgency. It's more like 'eeeehhhhhhh...so what?' So what if my Flannel will be late for the set? So what if the vendor is holding my goods 'hostage'? So what? Do I look like I care?!? I should though. I know I should. But really, if you were in my shoes - and you come in to work in an environment like this... you would feel the exact same way I do.
So what gets me excited right now?!
- My boys: The Big Guy and the Little Guy
- My eBay (which I'm sure doesn't excite the Big Guy)
- My newly painted toes (thanks to the Big Guy's treat!)
- The supposed "Cheeseball" business with E
- Start scrapbooking (ok so I'm a little delayed on this people..gimme a break!)
So, the Big Guy and I got invited to a "wedding" - but it's a wedding we'd both want to go and as bad as it may sound, we want to go out of curiosity. Former boss J is getting married to his longtime partner R on 8/15. Now, the Big Guy and I have never been to a same-sex wedding ceremony before so that part, we are curious and want to go. But also at the same time, I say GOOD FOR YOU!!! I may go to hell for this and people may damn me all they want - but my thing is, it's hard enough to find someone to love and be with for the rest of your life, must there really be a restriction as to what gender they are? I think people who have strong opinions against it should mind their own business. Anyway, before I go off...... It's an exciting time and we are just glad to be invited.
J&C, the Big Guy, Jake and I went to dimsum on Monday since it was no-work day because of 4th of July. It was such a fun day!!! We went to the dirty dimsum place by my work, Oriental Tea House in San Leandro. Try it people. The restaurant may be dingky but their tantar is to die for!!! We must have ordered everything shrimpy since J likes shrimps. It was good and $50 later, we were all stuff, even Jake. Afterwards, we got our toes done! First it was supposed to be just the wifeys but then the husbands decided they wanted to get footspa done to them as well. It was too cute I had to take a picture of it. My Little Guy was so good - he decided to give Mama and Daddy a break and was asleep the whole time we were at the nail place. The fans for the nails were all focused on him since he started sweating in the stroller but he was out cold even until we were done. The Big Guy and J decided I should have French Tips done on my toes..and so I did :).
It's Hump Day. Two more days... two more days.
