My lazy ass is definitely saying IT'S MONDAY alright!

I woke up late (as usual).
My hair isn't working with me (as usual).
I really don't like what I'm wearing (as usual).
I have a feeling my day is only going to get crabbier.

Got 2 new friends on Friendster! I know - I sound like a 13 year old getting excited over Friendster. Yipee - shoot me now! One is one of my favorite cousin, J1 (about time he gets on Friendster). Another one is my long time friend/neighbor/kindergarten classmate, A.

The weekend was fun! Opened an account for the Little Guy, and he got a freebie toy to match! Went to Banyan Garden for lunch - YUM YUM!! Hubs actually wanted something quick - but if my first meal of the day is at 2:30pm, I don't want to settle for something quick!! The aromatic chicken is to die for! Anyways - went to Santana Row afterwards to look for J&T's wedding gift. Stopped by The Container Store and I started to hyperventilate! That store was designed with me in mind! I was in heaven!!! Two floors of nothing but organizers, containers and anything that satisfies the obsessive-compulsiveness in all of us! 2 aisles dedicated to wrapping papers, bows, boxes, you name it! Containers of different sizes and colors!! Different sizes of ziplock-like bags! Labels! Tupperwares! OH MY GOD!!! I thought I died and went to heaven! Hubs got a kick of seeing my eyes lit in excitement! That is DEFINITELY one of my favorite stores now! Of course I couldn't walk out without anything :). I'll be back soon! Mama will be back very, very soon!!!

Walked around Santana Row - got the wedding gift - looked for something to wear for the wedding but no luck! Got me some really cute pair of shoes though :). Can't wait to wear them! I figured, I will build my wardrobe from the feet up instead. I wanted to go all girly-girly... but it's not as easy as I thought it would be. Hubs wants to see me in flowers, pinks, anything other than my usual "Josephine Colors" - it's going to be tough!!!

The little monster has been very cuddly lately. He would play and play and then come up and hug you out of the blue. It's so heart-warming. I hope he stays that way.

Hubs and I did MAJOR cleaning yesterday. It's insane how much stuff we have!!!

It's only Monday..... I'll be damned!

I'm tired.
I'm crabby.
I have jetlag.
Is it Friday yet?!

I feel like my week is just starting although I worked all weekend.
New York was awesome. Tiring but awesome. Worked.. and walked.. and worked.. and walked.
Damn! I've forgotten how much walking is involved when you are in NY. The yellow cabs were such a welcoming sight.
The W is TOTALLY overrated. If it weren't for their Aveda products, I would be totally bitching right now!
I was hoping to meet up with some of the N@W girls, but there was just no time at all.
Met up with Tito Ninong T, Tita Ninang N and J&O. Had dinner Sunday night at this Vietnamese/Thai place called Lemongrass Grill on 38th and Lexington. Pretty good food.
Saturday, when I flew in - had dinner with L & WCL at Ollie's off of 42nd and Broadway. Nice way to end the night was dessert at Pax.
Monday night's vendor dinner was at Docks. Great crab cakes. Yum yum yum!!
Didn't really shop much. Made my usual pilgrimage to H&M (ha!) - bought funky rings for the girls here at work, and a couple of shirts for me, C and Mom and a couple of trinkets for Inna & Bel.
Also got Inna her first communion rosary at St. Patrick's and caught the last 10 mins of the mass.
Monday was fun :). L and I had a late start with our meetings so we decided to go to 47th Street - the Diamond District! OH MY GOODNESS! Walked in with no intentions of buying anything and yet walked out with goodies. Yipee Yippe Yipee!! L's eye-popping bracelet (3ctw) was just gorgeous. I told Hubs "everyone in NY had rocks on their fingers!

Anyways, Hubs picked me up at OAK on Tues and surprise surprise - the little monster is now walking. Like really walking. He follows me around the house now. He was so surprised to see me (he was asleep when he and Hubs dropped me off on Sat am and he was still asleep when they picked me up) - he looked at me for the longest time like "are you really here Mama?" He is such a cutie!

Time to go home.
I can barely keep my eyes open.
J&C are coming over for dinner. J's car was stolen last week and it got me so paranoid to check every black VW Passat that I saw to make sure it wasn't Buzz (as in BZ2DRSQ). Well, Buzz is home now... found on Tuesday am. Welcome home Buzz.
