I forgot to mention...

My bestest friend C and Hubs D are again expecting.
She had a miscarriage early in the year and so expecting another baby is a miracle in and of itself. She's having a difficult pregnancy but the latest news is that all's well with her and the baby. Early bedrest but it's all worth it in the end.

Thoughts and prayers for you, C&D. We love you! Hang in there little one - we're all rooting for you! :>

Why does it feel like when something goes wrong, everything goes wrong?

It's a possibility that I would have 16ft of blank space in the store with my vendor holding my Down hostage! Grrr!! Triple GRRR!!! I went home venting to Hubs about how I have no Down coming in on time which screws up my whole cold weather set which then screws me over that in a span of 2 hours, I got a zit on my forehead because of all the drama! I was this close to whooping someone's ass yesterday... anyone.. I didn't care! I was so spent. I felt like I was coming down with something. My throat started hurting. My bun felt too tight on my head. And I was even wearing my cute skirt! Goshdarnit!

I couldn't sleep last night. Hubs and Jake sat with me as I watched Final Destination. I vaguely remember the movie but I know I was freaked like hell. So why did I watch it again last night? I don't know. I was too freaked and too preoccupied with closing my eyes on the scary parts that I must've fallen asleep way before the little monster did. I'm such a wuss.

We're taking the monster to Disneyland this weekend. The two little clones are coming along as well. This should be a fun road trip. Hubs and I went to Ranch on Saturday and bought all the junk food we can get our hands on. I can't wait for Jake's reaction when he sees Stanley and Rollie Pollie Ollie :).

The weather has been weird. Cold and sunny. Not in May! But then again, I'd take this weather over HOT anytime. I guess I'm just prissy that way. A coworker came up to me yesterday and said I was girly. I am?!? I looked at myself and thought "how could I possibly" be girly when I'm head to toe boring in JCrew? But then again, I'd rather be viewed as girly than masculine?!?! I'd take that anyday. Ha!

Did ya'll watch American Idol? I know I said I was going to boycott it since they won't take out the redhead...but like everyone else, I kept watching anyways. I wasn't a big Jasmine fan so I wasn't too sorry to see her go. Fantasia - I'm not even gonna go there. As my 7yo niece said - Fantasia needs to be on a "different" show, if you get my drift. Diana is cute.. but something about her nose. I don't know what's going on there....

OH... and the big reality show freak that I am, I also watched The Swan on Monday. Was it just me or did it look like an audition for the gentleman's club? They all had the hoochie hair, the boob-popping dress and the F-me shoes. Just because you got a makeover doesn't mean you need to play the part of a hooch. I don't know. I had issues about that show too (but then again, I have issues about a lot of things). I didn't get the concept. The ones that didn't get picked during the weeks - should they feel good that they weren't as messed up as the ones that won? And the one that won the contest... did that mean she was the one that needed the most tweaking? I don't know if I'd take that as a complement. But then again, what do I know? I would want things done and tweaked myself (first thing: JLo buttocks but leave my calves and ankles alone - the thinnest parts I have!) They get major crap though... and cash! Darn!

Oh well... I'll just watch Pimp My Ride instead ;>...hehehe!

I'm not having a good day .. too many things going on .. too many feelings to sort out .. and I don't know where to start.

It's Monday - and usually, I'd be b*tching by now, but it's turning out to be a good day after all :).
Four emails when I got in - what a refreshing change from the daily 50+ emails.
China and Pakistan off for Labor Day/Weekend...whatever... so no issues for me.
Oh.. and I got the best part... a Hello Kitty mini-fridge. It's so cute!!! I've been hoping CJ would give me one for the longest time... and now I have one on my desk. Granted it only fits my yougurt, but it's ok :).

The weekend was busy.

Saturday was Nicholas' Red Egg & Ginger at Gold Mountain. The little monster was unbelievabley hyper. All he wanted to do was walk around with balloons on each hand. Hubs and I also spent the night trying to put our armoire together. As small as our house is, I stepped on one of the boards Hubs had laid out, and with my weight plus Jake's - that thing snapped in half!!! Next thing we knew, we were all piled in the Jeep bringing with us that one piece of board. Turns out they don't even have it on stock.. so Hubs did his Tim the Tool Man trick and put together the armoire anyways. Hey, it looks pretty good. No one would notice the crack on the side panel :). Cleaned and rearranged the living room until wee hours. Hubs had to wire and rewire all of his gadgets. Jake is just amused with the doors of the armoire. Found himself a new toy.

Sunday, the girls were with us. Hubs picked them up in the morning so we can take them to church and then to Santana Row where Inna had to perform. It was H-O-T!!! Jake was asleep the whole time. Inna did great. She's Figaro in Pinnochio this year - one of the lead roles. She was so excited to dance that she insisted on wearing her costume before leaving the house. I did her hair and make-up.. pretty cool. We watched the performance and met up with M&D at Valley Fair. Just walked around to "cool off" - like we were in Manila :). Dinner at M&D's and home-bound we were.

I'm on a mission to lose weight. Hubs knows why ;>... and I haven't had any carbs today and I'm about ready to pass out!!! Gimme my rice!!!! Even my frapuccinos are being rationed by Hubs. Darn! Nuts nuts nuts!!!
